Five children have died and another is in hospital after a fire at a house in Derby.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the house in Victory Road in Allenton at about 03:45 BST.
Derbyshire Police said the children who died in the fire were aged between five and 10 years old.
A sixth, aged 13, has been taken to hospital in Birmingham for specialist treatment. Two adults suffered minor injuries.
Police said the investigation into the cause of the fire was at a very early stage.
