Two bombs explode in Londonderry

There have been two explosions at separate locations in Londonderry, the police have confirmed.

The blasts were reported at Strand Road, close to the DHSS office, and at the tourist centre in Foyle Street.

There are no reports of any injuries. Homes and businesses in both areas have been evacuated following two telephone warnings earlier on Thursday.

The police are currently at the scenes, which are cordoned off. There are no further details at present.
