Bombings kill more than 40 in Syria

A twin car bombing in the Syrian capital has killed at least 44 people and injured more than 166 others, the Syrian authorities say. Anti-government activists allege that the government had a hand in the blasts, while authorities have blamed "al-Qaeda linked groups". Al Jazeera
