Church camp legal action 'paused'

Breaking news graphic

St Paul's Cathedral says it is suspending its current legal action against the anti-capitalist protest camp outside the church.

The church said it was appointing ex-chairman of UBS Europe Ken Costa to spearhead an initiative "reconnecting the financial with the ethical".

It comes as the City of London Corporation said it planned to issue eviction letters to protesters.

Occupy London Stock Exchange said they were preparing to respond.
