The French military has released a video it claims shows French fighter jets bombing a Libyan ammunitions depot south of Tripoli on March 28th. The 32 seconds black and white sequence appears to show five explosions as munitions hit their targets, which the French military said were in Gharyan, 100 kilometres south of Tripoli. Meanwhile the US is reportedly sending CIA teams into Libya to gather intelligence and set up links with rebels. It comes as doubts grow about the exact makeup of the movement to oust Colonel Gadaffi. That's prompted criticism of plans to arm them, with NATO officials themselves admitting they fear that Al-Qaeda fighters are among the rebels.

Barack Obama is a Muslim, says Libya's Qadhafi..lol
Someone better tell FightTheSmears.com that Libyan leader Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi is a 'right-winger', lol, and saying that Obama is a Muslim and that Obama has an inferiority complex. Come on FightTheSmears.com, George Soros isn't just paying you to sit on your butts, lol You better start 'clearifying' that Obama is NOT a Muslim to all those Muslim countries and American Muslims who BELIEVE that Barack Obama is a Muslim. You better tell them that Obama is a born again Christian and not Muslim...those right-win...oh, wait...Muslims. Qadhafi goes on to mention that Obama should be proud of his African, Muslim [sic] identity. The Libyan gives his take on the current elections campaign in the United States. Qadhafi was responding to Obama's AIPAC pandering in which he stated Jerusalem shall be undivided at the Isralobby's 2008 Policy Conference. This statement incurred the wrath of the Arab media which led Obama to later 'readjust' his statement. Everytime I watch a Qadhafi speech I burst into laughter. This man -- a merge of Mick Jagger and Gene Simmons -- tends to be an Africanist one day and a pan-Arabist the next. The man is getting old. Have fun watching! Originally broadcast on al-Jazeera TV. Dramatic amateur video emerged on Monday purporting to show the aftermath of a skirmish that happened late last week between troops loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi and rebel forces at Misrata airport. The video accessed via Youtube is thought to have been filmed over the weekend and there is no means of independently verifying it's date and authenticity. Fighting took place between Gadhafi loyalists and rebels at Misrata, Libya's third largest city 125 miles (200 kilometres) east of Tripoli, on Friday, according to residents. Each side now controls part of a sprawling air base on the outskirts of the city, and neither was able to make any gains in the latest sporadic fighting, they said. The footage shows buildings damaged by gunfire, while spent bullet shells and debris litter the runway. Also seen is a tank perched on top of a small airplane, used for training purposes. On Monday, clashes continued in Misrata. RT on Facebook: www.facebook.com RT on Twitter: twitter.com
